Derrick Dao
CEO
Mr. Dao is CEO of Highrock Resources with significant international corporate development, M&A and capital markets experience in the natural resources sector.
He has been actively involved in the capital markets including the management of initial public offerings, asset acquisitions, divestitures and advisory on company mergers. Mr. Dao was previously founder and CEO of Algal Earth, an early stage carbon technology company which was acquired in 2023. He also served as the CEO of WealthGreen and has held positions on the investment banking team at J.P. Morgan and advisory teams at Rystad Energy and McDaniel. Mr. Dao is a Professional Engineer of Alberta and graduated from the University of Calgary.
Carmelo Marrelli

Mr. Marrelli serves as the Corporation’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Marrelli holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant and as a Certified General Accountant in Canada. In addition to acting as the Corporation’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Marrelli has been a principal of Marrelli Support Services Inc., a firm providing administration services to Canadian public companies, since February, 2009 and, prior to February, 2009, a partner with Marrelli & Drake Corporate Services
Anthony Roodenburg
Director
Mr. Roodenburg has been involved in the creation and financing of several early stage ventures since leaving National Bank Financial in 1991. Mr. Roodenburg founded Greencastle in 1996 and is also the founder and former director of Deveron Corp. (TSXV-FARM), one of Canada’s fifty fastest growing companies.
In 2010, as founder and CEO of Seafield Resources Ltd., Mr. Roodenburg lead the project acquisition and financing of a significant gold discovery in Colombia, valued at more than USD$500 million.

Dr. James Pirie

Dr. Pirie is a distinguished executive having spent much of his career in the natural resources industry throughout the Americas and elsewhere around the world, focused on exploration for a variety of metals and minerals. He has held executive positions in a number of prominent companies including Deveron, Greencastle Resources, Gold Summit Mines, Seafield Resources, Platinova, Breakwater Resources, Granduc Mining Corp, Homestake Mining Company, Esso Minerals Canada and more. Dr. Pirie received his doctorate from Queen’s University.
Michael Power
Director
Mr. Power is a esteemed executive with significant capital markets and mining experience. Mr. Power has served as an executive for Greencastle Resources Ltd., Moydow Resources Limited, Conroy Gold and Natural Resources Plc, and Minerex Drilling Contractors Limited. He is a Professional Engineer registered in Ontario and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst with 50 years of experience in the mining industry in Canada and worldwide. Based in Toronto, Mr. Power was formerly Vice-President and Secretary of Moydow Mines International Inc., Vice-President of Corporate Development at Hemlo Gold Mines Ltd. and previously Noranda Mines.
